Your dog may have inflammation of the brain (encephalitis) or inflammation of the membranes that go all around the brain (meningitis). However, some dogs may have both which is obviously even more severe and vets call it meningoencephalitis.
• Hydrocephalus– It happens when the fluids build up in the brain. Some dogs are born with this while others can develop it later in life. In addition, dogs with this condition may have a domed skull, difficulty learning, drinking water, eating, etc.
