One of the most common issues is hip dysplasia. It is an abnormal joint formation that will cause arthritis and therefore pain over time.

Both breeds here are high in energy. Border collies will need 60 minutes of physical activity every single day. Huskies need, even more, around 90 minutes. This means that the hybrid dog will need a lot of time to run around. They need 90 minutes, just like Huskies. Remember that if you are unable to provide this level of physical activity, this breed is not the ideal choice to make. 

Border collies are driven by objects. Huskies are driven by food. In general, both breeds need mental stimulation. This also means that your puppy will be either object or food driven and you need to discover that first. Once you know that you can use this to your advantage you can easily provide the mental stimulation he needs.
